Lara is a district of Antalya located to the east of the downtown. The length of the coastline of the district is 18 km and life is in full swing there both day and night.
Interestingly Lara is mostly located on a rock 30-40 meters above sea level. Access to the water is difficult but this limitation is more than outweighed by enchanting views. Few descents to the sea are equipped with wooden decks and stairs for swimming.
However on the border with the Kundu district there are gorgeous sandy beaches with a gentle entry into the water: you can relax calmly with your children and not be afraid for their safety.

In the meantime your little ones won't be bored: playgrounds overlooking the seascape are the hallmark of the area.
There is a magnificent park with tables and benches near the embankment. One will spend a day or two to walk around the whole park.
You can also see a small artificial waterfall on the embankment. There is a sightseeing platform near it and it offers a gorgeous view of the azure sea and the coast of Antalya.
One of the main attractions of Lara is the Duden Waterfall which is also worth paying special attention. A natural fast-flowing stream of water falls from 40-45 meters into the sea and gives the visitors coolness even in hot summer days.

The infrastructure of the district is developed enough. It offers everything needed for comfortable life: hospitals, pharmacies, kindergartens, a Russian school, a tourism college, offices, shops, numerous parks and fountains. There are 2 large shopping centers in the area where you can buy everything you need. There are many coastal restaurants and bars overlooking the sea.
The proximity of the airport, the high level of development of the area, the most popular beach in Antalya and the Blue Flag of quality make the area extremely attractive in terms of purchasing investment realty. Real estate in Lara will not be unoccupied during the tourist season and will provide its owner with a decent passive income.
Construction works in Lara started over 40 years ago, which is why there are not as many new buildings in the area as in Konyaalti. Apartments with their own infrastructure and sea views are less common and prices for apartments within the area are steadily growing.
