As the 2025–2026 academic year approaches, Alanya’s universities — Alanya University and Aladdin Keykubat University (ALKU) — are actively developing their programs and academic staff.
Alanya University Expands Educational Opportunities
Established in 2011 by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) as Hamdullah Emin Pasha University and renamed Alanya University in 2023, the institution offers education to both Turkish and international students. In the new academic year, it will operate on two campuses — in Cikcilli and on the slopes of the Kale fortress.
By 2025, the university provides education in 25 departments within five faculties and one institute. These include faculties of economics, administrative and social sciences, art and design, medical sciences, engineering and natural sciences, and a vocational school. Newly opened departments this year include nursing, tourism management, management information systems, food quality control and analysis, smart infrastructure technologies, and chemical technology — all aligned with regional needs and student preferences.
University Rector Prof. Turan Sager encouraged young people to choose a university that offers more than just a diploma — one with high-quality education, a unique coastal location, and international opportunities. He emphasized three key factors when choosing a university: quality of education, social environment, and hands-on experience. “Don’t miss the chance. Let your future start with Alanya University,” he said.
ALKU Announces Academic Staff Recruitment
Aladdin Keykubat University (ALKU) is also preparing for the new academic year. On July 21, 2025, the “Official Gazette” published a call for 24 academic positions across various faculties. Applications will close on August 4, 2025.
ALKU is recruiting faculty members for education, engineering, medicine, sports sciences, arts and design, and medical faculties, as well as the ALTSO and Gazipaşa Mustafa Rahmi Büyükballı vocational schools. Positions are also open at the School of Foreign Languages.
The recruitment process will follow the provisions of Law No. 2547 on Higher Education. Applicants must submit full documentation, including degrees, proof of foreign language proficiency, resumes, publications, and other materials — both in hard copy and on six USB drives.

Applicants must have a minimum ALES score of 70, and for English-language programs, at least 85 on the language proficiency test. Undergraduate degrees must be relevant to the field applied for.
