As of 2025, two cities in Türkiye — Istanbul and Antalya — have entered the list of the most visited destinations in the world.

According to the Top 100 City Destinations Index 2025 report prepared by Euromonitor International, both cities ranked highly in terms of international tourist arrivals.

Positions in the global ranking:
Istanbul — 5th place (around 19.7 million international tourists)
Antalya — 8th place (approximately 18.6 million visitors)

The study specifically measures international tourist arrivals — one of the key indicators of global tourism attractiveness.

Istanbul continues to attract travelers with its unique combination of history and modern urban life — from architectural heritage to a dynamic cultural scene.
