TurkStat Announces Turkey's Population for 2025

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) has released the population data from the Address-Based Population Registration System for 2024. According to the report, Turkey's population reached 85,664,944 people.

Population Growth:

As of December 31, 2024, the country's population increased by 292,567 people over the year.

Gender Distribution:

The male population was 42,853,110, while the female population was 42,811,834. This means 50.02% of the total population are men, and 49.98% are women.

Foreign Population:

The number of foreigners residing in Turkey decreased by 89,996 compared to the previous year, reaching 1,480,547 people.

Alanya's Population Growth:

In 2024, Alanya's population increased by 1,982, reaching 361,873 people.
