Turkish Banks to Increase ATM Withdrawal Limits
Ahead of the Ramadan holiday, both state and private banks in Turkey are reviewing ATM cash withdrawal limits. It is expected that the maximum withdrawal amount will be increased, making it easier for citizens to access cash.
According to preliminary reports, the daily ATM withdrawal limit may rise fr om 10,000 TL to 15,000–20,000 TL. An increase in the QR code withdrawal lim it, which currently ranges from 5,000 to 10,000 TL, is also under consideration.
There are no withdrawal limits at bank branches, which remain an alternative for obtaining larger sums.
This adjustment aims to improve customer service before the holiday period and reduce the workload on bank branches.
