From April 16 to 19, 2026, Alanya will host a stage of the Bioderma Pro Beach Tour Turkish Beach Volleyball Series. The competition will be hosted by the International Beach Sports Center, a key venue for tournaments of this level in the region.
The Alanya stage will open the 2026 season and will be held in the Grand Slam category, the highest level of the national series. The tournament is considered one of the most significant on the calendar, attracting the strongest players from both Russia and abroad.
The Grand Slam format offers enhanced conditions for participants: the total prize fund will be at least 500,000 Turkish lira, athletes will receive double ranking points, and teams ranked in the top 8 will be provided with accommodation for the duration of the competition.
Both professional and amateur athletes are eligible to participate. The tournament is open to all licensed players. The competition will be held in men's and women's categories, with participants being seeded based on rankings.
Athletes from not only Turkey but also other countries are expected to participate, underscoring the tournament's international status. Spectator stands will be provided, and broadcasts of the matches are planned.
According to the Turkish Volleyball Federation's preliminary calendar, a significant expansion of beach volleyball tournaments is expected in 2026. The season will include both national and international competitions, aimed at developing the sport and creating more opportunities for athletes.
Alanya will once again become a center of beach volleyball in 2026. In addition to the April event, a number of major international tournaments are planned, including the Alanya Cup Open International in May and the FIVB Beach Pro Tour World Tour event, the Alanya Challenge, in June, as well as other competitions throughout the season.
The Pro Beach Tour Türkiye Serisi stage in April will be a key event on the region's sports calendar, attracting the attention of both the professional community and sports enthusiasts, further promoting the development of sports tourism in Alanya.
