The 3rd International Folk Dance and Music Festival Concluded in Alanya

The 3rd International Folk Dance and Music Festival in Alanya came to a vibrant close, filling the city with color, rhythm, and excitement. The event was organized by the Alanya Municipality with the support of ALTAV and YESAK.

Over two unforgettable days, 900 participants from eight countries — Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Mexico, Romania, Iran, Moldova, and Bulgaria — performed traditional dances and music, turning the festival into a true celebration of cultures and traditions.

The final day was especially spectacular, set against the magnificent backdrop of the Red Tower, one of Alanya’s most iconic landmarks. Locals and visitors alike applauded the colorful costumes, lively tunes, and dynamic performances that lit up the stage. 

Asrin Atesoglu, a member of the Alanya Municipal Council, expressed gratitude to all participants and guests on behalf of Mayor Osman Targan Ozcelik:

“You have enriched our city with your performances. I hope Alanya has left you with warm memories. Thank you for these two wonderful days — we look forward to seeing you again next year!”

The festival concluded with a closing ceremony, during which participants received certificates, commemorative plaques, and gifts.  

The International Folk Dance and Music Festival has already become a beloved Alanya tradition — one that unites cultures, celebrates art, and fills the city with joy and inspiration every year.
