Sports With a View of the Sea and Green Mountains: Cycling Cup in Alanya
The "First Stage of the PYY Turkey Cup" organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation is taking place in Alanya, with the participation of 495 athletes.
Due to the cycling race, some roads in Alanya may be temporarily closed.
The competition runs from January 19, 2025, to January 22, 2025, in Alanya and Antalya.
The Turkish Cycling Federation is the governing body for cycling sports in Turkey. Race results can be found on the federation’s website: https://bisiklet.gov.tr/ .
In 2024, Alanya received the honorary title of "Mediterranean Sports Capital," awarded by the Federation of European Sports Capitals and Cities (ACES Europe). This prestigious title highlights the active development of Alanya’s sports infrastructure. Over 100 sporting events, including international ones, were organized in 2024, and their number continues to grow each year.
