Review of all beaches in Alanya, Turkey. Which one to choose for your holiday?

People come to Alanya for the sea and beaches.

This city and district in the Antalya province are rich in beaches.

The entire Alanya coastline is great for swimming.

There are no cliffs or rocks like in Antalya.

No ports like in Mersin.

And life doesn’t stop after the season, like in many small resorts.

Alanya’s beaches are pure joy for tourists!

And each one is different.

Everyone can find a spot that suits their taste.

Our beach review starts on the Antalya side and ends in Gazipaşa.

İncekum

A Mediterranean gem — one of the best beaches.

A sandy shore with soft golden sand.

Shallow entry, perfect for kids.

About 1.5 km long.

Pine forests and greenery opposite the beach.

Hotels along the shore separate it from the road.

Amenities: sunbeds, cafés, toilets.

Nearby — camping areas and picnic zones.

A new 6,000 m² parking area has been built.

The town center has many restaurants and shops.

İncekum Orman Kamp

A hidden spot far from central Avsallar.

A beach few people know about.

Located between İncekum and Avsallar beaches.

It’s a paid campground with comfy conditions.

You can stay in tents.

Or just enjoy a day at this unique beach in a pine forest.

No modern infrastructure on the shore.

But basic needs are covered: toilet, changing cabin, shower, kids’ area.

There’s a small shop during the season, limited selection.

Even on hot days, the tree shade lets you spend the whole day here.

A cozy bay protects against waves.

The beach area is small.

Shallow, comfortable for children.

The pine forest by the sea will make your visit unforgettable.

Avsallar

Beaches here are separated from the busy road by hotels.

It’s cozy and green, but crowded in season.

Fine golden sand.

Smooth entry, no stone slabs.

Beaches are narrow, but the coast stretches over 3 km.

Avsallar has a laid-back siesta vibe.

A spot for those who love peaceful rest.

No loud parties, but restaurants for every taste.

The main street is shaded by tree canopies.

Many parks and pine groves.

One of the greenest areas.

Türkler, Konaklı Districts

A resort haven with famous hotels.

Tourist-focused areas, mostly for hotel vacations.

Shore: sandy and pebbly.

Some steep entries.

Occasional stone slabs.

Mostly hotel beaches, but there are public ones too.

Well-developed infrastructure.

Visit the Sealanya Dolphinpark Seapark.

Or check out the popular Summer Garden nightclub.

The Konaklı Seyir Terası park has BBQ areas.

The viewpoint offers stunning scenery.

Konaklı has breakwater beaches and a diving center.

Kleopatra (western part of Alanya center)

A resort’s highlight, a true gem!

The most famous beach in Alanya.

Clean, soft sand, gentle entry.

Around 2.5 km long.

Right in the center, west of the peninsula with the fortress.

A scenic promenade with palm trees runs along the beach.

For photos, visit the fountain park nearby.

Also, popular: the Damlataş Cave.

Take the cable car from Kleopatra beach to the castle.

Try water sports.

Sports fields are available.

This beach is always buzzing with life.

A favorite among locals and tourists alike.

Top restaurants, bars, and clubs are nearby.

Tersane Beach

A wild beach under the castle.

Located between the tower and the shipyard (Tersane).

The shore is full of pebbles and shells.

No waves all year round.

When the sea is rough, it’s a safe swimming spot for kids.

Views of ships, the Red Tower, and the lighthouse.

Not an official beach, but it’s always busy.

It’s part of the port area.

You can start your walk-up to the castle along the old stone walls.

No changing rooms or other facilities here.

Keykubat (eastern part of Alanya center)

A favorite among locals, right in the heart of Alanya.

Sand mixed with pebbles.

Some underwater stone slabs.

Not as crowded as Kleopatra.

Park along the beach, palm-lined shaded paths.

Nearby is the famous Kedi Parkı — Cat Park with little houses for cats.

Combine beach time with a stroll through central streets.

Close to the main square and Atatürk monument.

Oba District

Pebbly-sandy beaches with full infrastructure.

Comfortable sea entry, some slabs.

Lots of cafés, restaurants, and water sports.

A long seafront promenade.

Bike and jogging paths run along the coast.

Nearby: Alanyum shopping mall, markets, hypermarkets.

More residential than hotel-heavy.

But the resort vibe is fully there.

Many restaurants and cafés.

The coastline is divided into various beaches.

Rent a sunbed, enjoy a cocktail with a fortress view.

Tosmur District

A small but comfy beach, never crowded.

Always a free sunbed to be found.

Fine pebbles and coarse sand.

Cooler water due to the Dimçay mountain river.

Walk along the riverside after beach time.

Locals love it for its peacefulness.

Guests are mostly from smaller city hotels.

Views of the fortress.

Enjoy its illuminated beauty in the evening.

Kestel District

A prestigious low-rise residential area.

Some hotels, but mostly locals from residences, use the beach.

Shore: large pebbles.

Clean water, sudden depth drops.

Great for cycling or jogging along the sea.

Some restaurants and supermarkets, but not as many as downtown.

Ideal for quiet, calm vacations with no crowds.

Mahmutlar District

The famous “Russian-speaking” area, #1 for real estate demand.

A resort haven that grew from banana plantations in just decades.

Pebbles and stones on the shore, occasional slabs.

Crystal clear water thanks to the rocky bottom.

Dedicated swimming areas marked.

All beaches are well-equipped.

Palm-lined promenade with rest areas.

Shops and cafés everywhere.

Plenty of locals and long-term expats.

Near the ancient city of Syedra.

Two shopping malls and two markets.

Everything you need for life and leisure.

Kargıcak District

Remote but prestigious and comfortable.

Being developed with luxurious residences and villas.

Known for its scenery and terrain.

Some of the best views are from Kargıcak windows.

Narrow, pebbly beaches.

Clean water, never crowded.

Mostly hotel and residence beaches, but open to all.

Basic infrastructure is available.

Perfect for peaceful living and vacations.

Demirtaş District

Far from the center, has a rural vibe.

Mostly home to local farmers.

But now developing fast and changing.

Just like its beaches.

Still wild and empty for now.

But the wide shoreline is slowly getting developed.

Pebbles and stones, crystal-clear sea.

A river nearby, beautiful nature.

15 km to Sapadere Canyon.

You can buy a cottage for a quiet retreat.

Just 20 km to the airport.

Modern complexes have spacious courtyards.

Sea turtles (caretta caretta) nest here.

Clean air, mountain views.

Gazipaşa

A town with an airport and active development.

A wide and long beach.

The D-400 highway doesn’t run along the shore.

Sand and pebbles along the coast.

Turtle nesting site too.

Calm atmosphere, no rush.

Some beach areas are equipped.

Clean, quiet, and scenic.

A road leads to the beach from the center, with lots of construction underway.

But no housing directly on the coast.

Soon there’ll be dozens of hotels here.

It’s a logical step, considering the airport.

For now, enjoy the relaxed pace of life.

Gazipaşa is the agricultural gem of the region.
