Residence Permit Fees Have NOT Been Increased! Official Statement from Göç

The cost of obtaining a residence permit in Turkey has not been increased! Information on residence permit fees:

In response to public statements suggesting an increase in residence permit fees, the Directorate of Migration Management has issued an official statement. Residence permit fees are determined annually by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in accordance with Law No. 492 on Fees. Therefore, no changes have occurred in the amount of residence permit fees.

The cost of the residence permit document, effective from January 1, 2026, according to the General Communiqué of the Directorate General of Accounting published in the Official Gazette No. 33117 dated December 24, 2025.

The cost of the plastic card, i.e. the residence permit document itself, is 964.00 TL.
