Ramadan Atmosphere in Alanya
The vibrant traditional “Ramadan Evenings,” organized annually by the Alanya Municipality, are continuing. The rich program conveys the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan through music, theatre, and cultural events. It is engaging for both adults and children. The whole city attends concerts, workshops, and performances, immersing itself in a spirit of unity.
Events take place in the square next to the old municipal building and will continue until March 18. The venue is open to everyone free of charge, creating an atmosphere of solidarity — values especially important during this holy month.
The program includes puppet shows, municipal workshops, performances, children’s theatre productions, and magic shows. Special themed stands allow guests to experience the Ramadan traditions of past years.
Sufi music is performed by Fırat Türkmen and Ahmet Fesçioğlu. On various days, the stage will host Orhan Hakalmaz, Selim Bölükbaşı, Şenay Demirci, Uğur Önür, Hatice Kübra Tongar, Ender Balkır, İncesaz, İmera, İsmail Altunsaray, and Özge Öz.
Local artists and groups also perform: Murat Kuşan, Ahmet Mutlu Terzioğlu, Turkish Classical Music Choir “Gönül Dostları,” Dost Meclisi, Alanya Faslı Şahane Choir, ALSAV Youth Turkish Music Choir, ALKÜ University ensembles, Alanya’dan Sesler, Mahmutlar Gönülden Gönüle Nağmeler ensemble, folk music group Ezgi and others.
Ramadan Square once again becomes a place for warm gatherings and family leisure. Traditional performances and cultural programs preserve the spirit of Ramadan and create heartfelt evenings.
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik invited all residents and guests to share the atmosphere of this blessed month in unity and harmony.
