Official Opening of the Tosmur–Mahmutlar Ring Road Section
This Saturday, December 20, the ceremonial opening of the eastern ring road will take place, directly connecting the Tosmur and Mahmutlar districts.
High-ranking officials are expected to attend, including former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Antalya MP Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, and Minister of Culture Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. Information about a possible road widening for freight transport in the Clock Tower area has not been officially confirmed.
The total length of the project is 15 km. At the current stage, the road ends near the Azura Park residential complex.
Alanya Doğu Çevreyolu is the eastern bypass road that will significantly change the city’s traffic structure.
The new road will become a full alternative to the coastal D-400 highway and will substantially reduce traffic congestion, especially during the tourist season. It will also stimulate active development in areas located farther from the coastline.
The Ministry of Transport has officially announced plans to extend the route to Gazipaşa. This will provide fast and convenient access to the airport, improve transport connectivity of Alanya’s eastern districts, and increase their investment attractiveness.
Construction of a high-speed highway from Antalya began in the summer. The new route will significantly reduce travel time from the airport to different areas of the province and connect the entire southern coast with a modern road network. The eastern bypass road in Alanya will become part of this large-scale transport system.
