Alanya, April 27, 2026 — The 8th International Children's Festival in Alanya has successfully concluded. The celebration, dedicated to the Day of National Sovereignty and Children's Day, took place on April 25–26 behind the Old Municipality Building (Eski Belediye Binası Arkası).
For two days, the festival area was filled with giant balloon parks, play tents, workshops, and educational zones. Visitors enjoyed soap bubble shows, clown performances, balloon animal workshops, children's games, robot shows, and many other entertaining and educational activities.
On April 25 at 20:00, a big concert by the popular Turkish artist Sefo was held. On April 26 at 18:00, a colorful closing event took place — a traditional painting flash mob with colors, which turned the streets of Alanya into a bright rainbow. Folk dance performances were also part of the program.
The entire festival was free and open to all residents and guests of the city.
Additional Festival Program:
On April 24, informational and educational seminars on the topic “Adolescence and Parenting in the Digital Age” were held in Hall A of the Alanya Cultural Center. The events were organized by the Alanya Municipality in cooperation with the City Council. During the day, there were training sessions on combating digital addiction, daytime sessions for students, and evening sessions for parents and teachers. An interactive zone with the participation of schools and educational institutions operated in the foyer. Participation in the seminars was also free.
On April 23, thematic events dedicated to children were held in kindergartens and schools in Alanya. In addition, throughout the holiday, children up to 14 years old inclusive could use the cable car for free.
Next Up — Youth Festival of Alanya
The next major event in Alanya will be the Youth Festival, which will take place from May 6 to 9 at the Kestel football field.
The Alanya Municipality invites young people aged 17 to 30. The festival program includes open-air cinema days, concerts by “Echo of Dubljuman” and Ankara, Survivor course, volleyball matches, football with balloons, team games, wooden games, carnival tents, and much more.
