High-Speed Railway Will Reach Alanya
The YHT high-speed railway project of the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) will include a branch to Alanya.
The project covers the route Kayseri – Nevşehir – Aksaray – Konya – Antalya – Alanya.
Construction will start in Kayseri and end in Antalya, where the line will split into two branches — one towards Serik and the other towards Alanya. Alanya will be integrated into the high-speed rail network, significantly improving its transport accessibility, simplifying logistics for tourists and residents, and boosting the regional economy and real estate market. Travel from the central part of the country to the coast will become more comfortable and faster.
Türkiye is actively developing its transport infrastructure, and one of the key projects is the construction of the YHT high-speed railway, connecting the central regions of the country with the southern coast. The inclusion of a branch to Alanya will greatly enhance the resort’s transportation network.
Once completed, travel time between Konya and Antalya will be reduced to 1 hour and 15 minutes, while the journey from Kayseri to Antalya will take 2 hours and 45 minutes.
The first phase of the project— the Antalya-Konya section— is expected to be completed by 2030. The entire route to Kayseri is planned to be ready by 2037. The project documentation for the Konya-Antalya section is complete, and engineering surveys are ongoing for other parts of the route.
