Dubai’s Golden Visa for Content Creators

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expanded its Golden Visa program to include digital content creators, offering a 10-year renewable residency permit through a new initiative called Creators HQ in Dubai.

The $40.8 million Creator Fund provides assistance with UAE visas, business registration, and relocation services.

Creators HQ is headquartered in the Emirates Towers and opened its doors on January 13, 2025. It plans to host over 300 events annually, including workshops on branding, video production, storytelling, and monetization.

Creators HQ has partnered with Meta, TikTok, X, and more, and has already attracted over 100 initial participants from 20 countries.

Who can benefit from the program: bloggers, social media influencers, podcasters, artists, advertising agencies, and animation studios.

Emirates #1 in Digital Transformation and Technology Adoption

The UAE has become a world leader in the Network Readiness Index. According to the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), the Emirates has achieved high scores in the development of digital government and the provision of e-services.

According to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN-DESA), the UAE’s achievements are as follows:

• The maximum 100% — for the Telecommunications Infrastructure Index.

• 34 points — for the Human Capital Index. The UAE moved up from 44th to 10th place and took first place in Asia and the Arab world. These results indicate the development of national competencies and a high level of education of the population.

• 95% — for the E-Government Development Index. The UAE moved up two places in the ranking.

• E-Government literacy has reached the maximum level in the UAE.

• The UAE took first place in the Online Services Index and indicators related to the institutional structure and content provision.

• FedNet increases digital efficiency with AI solutions.

• UAE PASS: the first digital national identity platform for access to local and federal government services.
