On the Marjan Islands in Ras Al Khaimah, construction continues on the massive $3.9 billion resort. The project is being built on a separate island of more than 60 hectares, stretching into the Arabian Gulf.

Wynn Resorts received the UAE’s first-ever commercial gaming license in 2024.
The project will significantly impact Ras Al Khaimah’s economy. In addition to tourist inflow, it will create demand for residential and commercial real estate, as well as new jobs. At the moment, 78 positions are open, and by the end of 2025 the staff is expected to reach 300 employees.
According to Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings, the UAE gaming market could reach $5 billion.
A new stage in Ras Al Khaimah’s development
At the same time, Marjan has completed infrastructure works at RAK Central — the largest business district in the Northern Emirates. The first companies will start operations here in 2027, followed by hotels and residential projects.
The emirate’s leadership expects Ras Al Khaimah to attract more than 3.5 million tourists annually by 2030. To achieve this, new master plans and residential developments are being prepared to ensure sustainable growth.
