The educational sphere of Alanya continues to demonstrate impressive results. According to the District Directorate of National Education, published after the 2025 university entrance exam (YKS), students of Hüseyin Girenes Science High School achieved outstanding success in the national ranking. Many of them entered prestigious universities in the country, including Hacettepe University, Istanbul University, and Boğaziçi University.

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University: almost full enrollment and new programs
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) has also achieved significant results. According to the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), in 2025, 99.18% of places were filled, which is above the national average in Türkiye (96%). Out of 2,693 offered seats, 2,671 were taken. Quotas were fully filled in highly demanded faculties such as medicine, dentistry, engineering, aviation and astronautics, as well as educational sciences.
In addition, the university is actively expanding its scientific base. In August, the Center for Molecular Medicine (MOLTAM) was officially established, focusing on research in disease diagnostics, molecular biology, genetics, as well as agriculture and ecology. The center, with an area of more than 2,200 square meters, will integrate laboratories in molecular diagnostics, microbiology, pathology, immunology, and biotechnology. It is expected to become an important platform for cancer, hereditary, neurological, and cardiovascular disease research, as well as to provide soil, water, and food analysis services.
Private schools and colleges in Alanya
In addition to public institutions, Alanya is known for its high level of private education. The city is home to prestigious schools and colleges offering programs in Turkish and English: Alanya Özel İsabet Okulları, Ted Alanya College, Bahçeşehir College Alanya, Final Schools, Doğa College, and Özel Hamdullah Emin Paşa (HEP) Schools, among others.
