A new yacht marina opens in Gazipaşa

The official opening of Gazipaşa Marina, a modern marina with a capacity for 230 yachts, will take place on November 8 at 4:00 PM. The project includes a yacht club, hotel, restaurants, a swimming pool, spa, gyms, tennis courts, and a concert venue.

The marina, known as "a gift to Gazipaşa" from Turkey's 8th President, Turgut Özal, was founded in 1992. Construction was completed today by Aydoğan Inc. under a build-operate-transfer (BOT) model, and the facility has been leased from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for 30 years.

The project has been invested $8.82 million.

The opening ceremony will be attended by Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and members of the regional parliament.

Kerim Aydogan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, noted:

"We are proud to open this project, which will make a significant contribution to the development of tourism in Gazipaşa."
